|Roshan Ghimire is a MBA candidate at Southwest Minnesota State University, MN. He graduated from the University of the District of Columbia with a degree in Mass Media, concentrating on Television Production and Photography. Roshan’s photographs have been exhibited nationally and internationally, and have won awards. Being a storyteller, he dreams of traveling like “The Alchemist,” and wishes to document the multi-dimensional parameter of our world through photos. Prior starting his MBA, he worked as the Staff Photographer for the DC Spotlight where he covered the Obamas, Navy Yard shootings and 2013 Government Shutdown. He worked as a Production Assistant for the syndicated TV show “What America Thinks with Scott Rasmussen.” Previously, He interned at CBS News, FrameWorks Institute and Empower DC. |Shiwani Neupane works as a Digital Media Associate at the Columbia Journalism School, and recently finished her masters there. She covers all things digital, and serves as the editor for the Tow blog. Before joining the journalism school, Shiwani worked as a broadcast journalist for a News24, Nepal while doing several freelance gigs. She has a bachelors degree in English and Political Science from Ithaca College. Shiwani published her first novel, a teenage fiction story called Monica, in February 2012, and is now putting final touches to her second novel, which will be published in 2014.
